Knit using the fair-isle technique, these cushion covers utilize multiple colors & strands of yarn in the same row. The color that is not visible is carried or "floated" across the back of the work. This results in the produced fabric being extra thick as the floats add bulk and warmth. These cushion covers are sturdy. They are made out of 100% merino wool. Some of the colors contain 30% mohair, adding extra softness. These colors are noted below.

These pieces are knit by Kelsey in her studio in Nashville, TN. They are knit on a non-automated vintage machine. They are linked by hand and produce little-to-no waste.

Materials:

All colors 100% merino wool except the navy, which is a blend of 70% merino & 30% mohair.

Care:

Wool is naturally antibacterial and does not need to be washed often.

Before storing for longer periods of time, or as needed, hand wash in room temperature or lukewarm water using natural detergent or eco dish soap.

Gently press out excess water by rolling up in a towel and pressing. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry.
